Tour Overview : Landscape and Wildlife opportunities, multi locations visited, varied techniques explored such as camera movement, wide scene and longer lens compositions and when to use slow shutter speeds. All this and more will be covered throughout the four days photography.
Wild Highland Autumn offers a unique chance to capture both wildlife and landscapes, during this most beautiful colourful season. Our wildlife day will focus on red squirrels and crested tits, located within ancient Caledonian forests, the perfect setting for two of the Highlands most charismatic wild inhabitants.
On the other three other days our attention will switch to landscape photography, visiting a new location each day. One day we will stay local in and around the Cairngorms National Park, the mixed native woodlands around lochs and mountain backdrops providing us with many varied opportunities. On a second day we will travel slightly south to north Perthshire where we will explore an area with towering beech trees with a tumbling river running below them. Other colour laden gem locations will also be visited throughout the day.
Our third landscape day will see us head northward to visit some spectacular scenic glens that provide some of the best views you could hope to see, all containing the classic elements you could wish to have in a landscape image. These locations will be out first choice but with weather variants another equally appealing location might be used in such circumstances.
