This autumn workshop focuses on several charismatic and highly photogenic species: the Red Squirrel and the Crested Tit, alongside a variety of other woodland birds including Great Spotted Woodpecker, Blue Tit, and more.
Combining these wonderful subjects with the Cairngorms National Park during its most colourful season, Autumn, offers exceptional photographic opportunities in a stunning natural setting.
Over the course of three full photography days, we will divide our time between the Red Squirrel and woodland bird hide, a dedicated Red Squirrel location, and a specialist Crested Tit site. Each location will be visited during both mornings and afternoons to take advantage of changing light conditions.
A wide range of images can be achieved, from intimate portraits to environmental compositions. Depending on the light, opportunities may include silhouettes, back-lit subjects, and behavioural action shots.
The workshop dates have been carefully chosen to coincide with the peak autumn colours in the Cairngorms. The images shown in the banner provide a small example of the photographic potential at each location during this season.
To ensure plenty of space, individual attention, and tuition if required, this workshop is limited to a maximum of three guests.
