Camera supports
Firm stable camera and lens support is essential when using long lenses. For these purposes I use a Wimberly head on a a Gitzo G1348 carbon fiber tripod. When unable to use a tripod, or working from a vehicle, a Wildlife Watching Supplies double beanbag filled with sunflower seeds does the trick perfectly

Lowepro
Carrying and protecting your equipment is vital, which is why I use Lowepro. With their superb build quality and vast range to choose from, you can't go wrong. My own choice is the Lowepro Pro Trekker 300AW and 400AW backpack's, which I rotate between depending on which gear and how much equipment I would be using.

Hides
There are two types of hide I use, both from Wildlife Watching Supplies. One is the standard dome hide in advantage leaf. The other hide is for low level work, being lower and longer then the standard dome hide. With the lens opening located at ground level and a sewn-in ground sheet you can lie down and photograph from ground level.

Filters
Various Lee neutral density graduated filters, with foundation kit holder.
